HB! New Colours!! New Punch !

So to begin: I cut a 3 x 8" length of Pink Pirouette , scored at the 4" mark and using a bone folder created my base card.
With the new scallop edged punch I centered one of the 3" ends in the punch. (there are very nice alignment markings along the entire edge) I then moved the punch to the opposite edge and completed the end punch and again for the opposite side. This leaves a perfectly centered, scalloped edge! Using the Riding Hood Red ink I stamped the Happy Birthday greeting ('It's Your Birthday' retiring on August 10) on a small piece of Very Vanilla (beautiful clean results everytime). I then stamped two sets of the 'One Of A Kind' flowers. These were punched out with the Boho Blossoms punch (it fits the flowers perfectly)! Using a sponge dauber I inked the outside edges of the verse after trimming with decorative scissors.
Using snail adhesive the verse was placed off centre and attached to the card. an option would be to use small brads at the four corners to give an additional 'framed' look. Using a round red brad 'Fire Circles' I placed this through the largest flower. I like to hammer the backing to flatten it and I always cushion the brad to protect it and my surface! The flowers adhered to 3d foam and mounted as shown.

for the inside of the card I cut a piece of white linen paper 2 3/4 x 3 1/2" with a torn decorative edge. I stamped the very cute HB as you can see and attached on the inside of the card with snail.

Detail of photo anchor placement

Back view of card with an extra flower to cover the brad from the back of the photo anchor and a stamped HM from the Art by Design collection. This was such a fun project and I initially roughed up the scalloped edge card so that I could mount an ATC to the front.....but it is a great size and the possibilities are endless ~ I'm thinking about tall single flowers, gold embossing, cute Christmas trees.......lol!

My first play with two of the new colours! They are simply gorgeous!
